Progress & Paint

Tomorrow is a big day! Tomorrow we will FINALLY paint the great room, and then I will be painting the dining room in a couple weeks. We were suppose to paint last weekend, but my husband got called into work. Which was a good thing. Not because he had to work, but because I changed my mind on the paint color. Again. Oh, the time I have had deciding on a paint color. I have several little sample cans I have painted patches on my walls with. I am now at peace with my final choice, it is called Classy from Allen & Roth at Lowes, and I really do love it. I am excited to get painting tomorrow. After we are done painting I can finally start putting some areas together.

This next coming week, I will be painting some furniture with with this awesome, wonderful paint! I kept hearing other bloggers talk about Annie Sloan chalk paint, and after watching some tutorials, I decided to order some. It really is a miracle worker! You do not have to sand or prime your pieces before painting, and it will paint over anything. I am excited to show my Annie Sloan paint makeovers when I am finished with them. I ordered my paint from Lady Butterbug, I was impressed with her service and super fast shipping. I will be ordering all my future Annie Sloan chalk paint from her. Her site also has great information and ideas for using your Annie Sloan chalk paint.

Well, I better go tackle my mess of a house to prep for painting, I thought I would leave you with some more pinterest inspirations............
The pic above is from Miss Mustard Seed, I just love her blog and home. You can visit her blog on my side bar.

Have a great weekend! I will try to stop in with some paint progress soon. :)
